Forget census data, it doesn't exist to give you the link. If they were Mexicans, establish the lines back as far as you can with the records in the civil registers. Then you'll have to switch over and start tracking them through sacramental registers. Spain kept their population records through the Catholic priest in town and until the early 20th century that continued in Mexico. The priest registered all births, marriages and deaths. Somewhere, whether at the parish level or the diocesan level, you'll find the parish sacramental registers for the 19th century for Anson TX.
