Where to live in Dallas if my job is in Arlington?
Q. I recently graduated from college and accepted a position with Aetna. My office will be located in Arlington, but I have my heart set on living in Dallas so that I may enjoy all the city has to offer. But I am not opposed to living in Arlington, because I know it would cut down my commute time. A little about me: Single Black female, 21, from Buffalo,NY. Looking for a diverse community with other young professionals. I will have a salary of $45,000 but I'm not too sure far that goes in Dallas for an apartment. I want a nice apartment (that doesnt mean luxury lol) where I can easiyl find things to do in the area (I like to shop and try new resturants and museums) .I've heard things about the village and i was strongly considering it, but… [cont.]

A. Living in Dallas and working in Arlington would make for a long, stressful commute! Not necessarily that far, but the traffic would be a nighmare. Parts of Arlington are really nice, but there's really no nightlife. Have you considered living in downtown Fort Worth?? It's cleaner and safer than Dallas, and much closer to Arlington without much traffic. Plus it's not nearly as expensive as Dallas, and there is plenty to do. They're starting to renovate some old buildings to make lofts, so there are some pretty cool places to live.

What does a season pass in St louis six flags include for Arlington tx park?
Q. Last year we bought a season pass to St Louis six flags and were going to do that again this year, but in July we are going to Arlington, TX and I was wondering if the pass would include hurricane harbor there. Our season pass does for the St Louis park but on the TX web page it has a separate more expensive pass that includes Hurricane Harbor.

A. Some Six Flags (like the one in St Louis) has a waterpark that is connected to the theme park (you can walk freely between the "dry" park and waterpark, and you do not have to enter a separate admissions gate or pay a separate fee), but some Six Flags, like the one in CA, NJ, GA, and Arlington, TX, they have a separate waterpark (it is physically separated from the "dry"/theme park) - where you have to go through a separate admissions gate (and pay for a ticket specifically for that park). Your pass gives you unlimited admission to ALL Six Flags parks (as you know) EXCEPT for separate-gate waterparks, like the one in Arlington, TX.
