is american history more racist than german?
Q. Considering that a lot of red indian tribes were either forced to move of fertile land or massacred by god fearing pilgrims, can any american indians or historians give me feedback as to wheather anything has been done to try to put things right? Lets not forget Germany and its evil nazi hench men was rightly punished or executed for there ideas and what they did, does the same apply to the founding settlers of america???

A. You could argue that it is a case of ethnic cleansing. It's taken a long time and I doubt if americans would admit to it but it's still pretty shabby...the aussies did the same...

What states have the most people of German Ancestry?
Q. In a 1960 history book I bough from a library, I read that 70% of white American have German Ancestry. That surprise me, where do they put Scotts, Irish,Scott-Irish.If someone have more accurate statistic, let me know. I would like to know where the German are more in majority in the united-states, even though they dpm't speak German.

A. North-Central, but also the eastern seaboard. I have heard 60% + before and it was a government study. One reason why it does seem strange is because many people anglicized their names when the US entered World War and the anti-German sentiment was very high.
