Inconvenient truths about German history and the 2nd World War ?
Q. It is said that the 'winner writes history'. As a student of North American history, I grew up knowing the many truths that were told to me about World War II. During the past 20 years some truths came to light. 1. That Germany prior to the 2nd world war became a center for the immorals of Europe. 2. That most of the Jews in Germany at the time, were put into housing projects because most of them refused to fight for Germany, because of religious values ? Have you heard anything about these and other truths that are seldom mentioned...ie the truths not spoken... the light: The Rainbow of Truth.

A. Unfortunately, anyone can write history and declare it as truth. A student of history needs to research carefully as to where some of this information comes from. As to a couple of your "truths (that) came to light": 1. I haven't heard of this before, but it bears looking into. 2. This sounds more like truth, because of the historical actions of Jews in different countries. They wanted to run their businesses, support their families, educate their children, etc. Fighting was not in their moral make-up.
