Is it better to major in Physical Therapy or a broader career field like health science?
Q. I'm in my 2nd semester in a community college. I'm planning to transfer to a 4 year University after my 2nd year. Right now i'm taking pre-requisite classes for physical therapy but i wanted to know if its better to major in Health Science and then later go to physical therapy? Or major in Physical Therapy and become a physical therapist?

A. You won't be able to major in PT...it's a graduate degree. At best, you can major in "pre-physical therapy", but you could also major in health care sciences. You can major in anything as long as you meet your prerequisites. It may be worth it to get a degree that will allow you more options if you do not get into PT school. For this reason, many PTs major in athletic training, biology, etc.

What does a physical examination include? Does it include blood and urine test?
Q. I want to get a physical done because I want to check for thyrod and also any possible STD? Would a physical include all this ?

A. Typically, a physical includes basic bloodwork, a basic metabolic panel and a CBC with differential. The BMP doesn't include thyroid tests. Those have to ordered by the doctor to be included. Urine dips are done in the office. If there's a problem, the specimen will be sent out to a lab for microanalysis. STD screening isn't a routine part of a physical. This is a specialty test that is ordered separately. If you have concerns, bring them up. If there's enough justification to order a TSH and and STD screen, your doctor will do so. But they're not routinely ordered.

What physical type of women are lesbians attracted to?
Q. I am a stereotypical blue eyed blonde and am constantly hit on by men. The problem is that I am not attracted to men. It took a long time for me to admit to my attraction to women but now that I have, I've noticed that being blonde is not as much of a draw to lesbians as it is to straight men. What physical type of women are lesbians attracted to? Can you give me examples of female celebrities that many lesbian women find attractive? I feel a little lost in this new lifestyle. Thanks.

A. i believe its not a matter of looks, but a matter of how you act around them. Do you act differently with guys than you do with girls like more withdrawn or anything like that? confidence may be the issue here, have you had boyfriends before? that might be a sort of problem, i think your perfect looks wise and any girl would be attracted to that steriotypical thing. How long have you known..? Just be more open with girls and kinda stay more talking to the girls and maybe like hold or rub a girls fingers if your on a pub crawl and a guy comes near you. That will indicate your sexuality to the guy. Or.. be simple and say "look im a lesbian" to every guy that tries it wid you. I believe ur a perfect lesbians like, dream girl
